Role Overview

We are excited to announce two openings within our Intellectual Property (IP) team. These positions will closely collaborate with the Research, Design, and Development (RDD) departments and will be tasked with managing IP-related risks and opportunities while providing strategic legal counsel. The role will play a pivotal part in supporting innovative technologies and products throughout their lifecycle, spanning various categories including Audio, Floorcare, Haircare, Robotics, and Digital Motors. The work environment is dynamic and invigorating, marked by enthusiasm, energy, and initiative.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identifying and managing IP risks and opportunities related to emerging products and technologies.
• Providing advisory support on potential IP risks through freedom-to-operate analyses and assessing the validity of external rights.
• Collaborating with external legal counsel to assist in patent drafting efforts.
• Overseeing the prosecution of patent applications globally to ensure the delivery of strategically significant patents in a cost-efficient manner.
• Analyzing competitor products and aiding the Litigation team with IP-related disputes and litigation issues.

Candidate Profile:

• You are a qualified attorney licensed in Singapore, the UK, Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.
• You possess a collaborative spirit, able to articulate IP concepts to non-IP colleagues clearly and succinctly.
• You are proactive, showing initiative in managing and evolving your responsibilities.
