Solution Architect

Job Summary

As a Solution Architect, you will oversee the architecture and end-to-end design of cloud-native applications. You will collaborate with an agile team delivering products for the Financial Industry and for MAS officers supporting the Financial Supervision function.

Key Responsibilities

. Partner with business teams and product owners to shape Solution Architecture and Design through ideation.

. Govern implementation activities to ensure alignment with the proposed solution and design.

. Enable development teams by providing technical guidance, advising engineers on problem-solving, and conducting/leading code review.

. Enhance software quality through cloud-native and Agile development practices, including TDD and automated CI/CD.

. Support QA by contributing to test automation and by identifying technical pitfalls and challenges.

. Collaborate with other architects to align the design of reusable libraries.

. Coordinate with other technical teams (e.g., Infrastructure, Enterprise, Applications, Security) to establish infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, application integrations, and to resolve deployment and integration issues.

. Conduct experimentation and develop prototypes to support exploratory work.

What we are looking for

. Good Bachelor Degree or Master Degree with minimally 7 years of relevant working experience in application development and design, and business analysis

. Strong knowledge of solution architectures and integration patterns

. Ability to design and develop large scale applications to solve complex business problems

. Proficient in .Net, Java, React.js, Node.js, MYSQL and MongoDB

. Familiar with multi-paradigm programming languages

. Experience in software development lifecycle in an Agile Scrum context

. Experience in OAuth2/OpenID connect

. Experience in containers, microservices and DevSecOps technologies

. Familiar with cloud-native technology.

. Experience in designing and developing applications in AWS cloud environment. Certification on AWS cloud technology is preferred.

. Good understanding of SRE/Service/Security /Compliance Management process including change, incident, problem on cloud platform

. Good analytical skills, and able to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner

. Ability to resolve complex problems creatively

. Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills
