Backend Software Engineer Openings

Job Type: 6 Months – Extendable

We are seeking a Software Engineer with a Computer Science or related background to support our expanding product development initiatives. The successful candidate will bring proven experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Hands-on experience with MQTT is highly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications and products using Java, Spring / Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, and data access layers.
• Build, deploy, and support applications on GCP.
• Support application architecture efforts, take ownership of product deliverables, and ensure delivery according to agreed timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across the entire software development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong design and programming expertise in Java.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Spring Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, SQL development, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deploying and supporting cloud applications.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
