Job Summary

This hybrid Agent Orch Software Engineer role focuses on building and deploying reliable data and intelligence solutions. You will leverage Snowflake Cortex Code, Snowflake Cortex, and core Snowflake capabilities to deliver finance and accounting analytics. The position requires eight to twelve years of experience and highlights scalable orchestration approaches, secure data processing, and delivery of meaningful insights for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced data orchestration workflows using Snowflake Cortex Code and Snowflake Cortex to support intelligent automation and high performance analytical pipelines for enterprise stakeholders.
• Build optimized data models and transformation logic in Snowflake to meet complex finance and accounting reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of key metrics.
• Work with cross functional teams in a hybrid environment to capture detailed business requirements, convert them into technical designs, and deliver secure, scalable data solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Configure and manage Snowflake environments, including warehouses, databases, and roles, to maintain dependable performance, a strong security posture, and efficient resource utilization across day shift operations.
• Create reusable patterns and components for agent based orchestration in Snowflake Cortex Code to streamline workflow management, reduce maintenance effort, and accelerate development for project teams.
• Perform comprehensive data quality checks using validation rules and monitoring frameworks in Snowflake to protect financial and accounting datasets from anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Tune SQL queries, data pipelines, and orchestration logic to reduce compute costs, improve execution speed, and enable large scale analytical workloads without service interruptions.
• Develop and maintain clear technical documentation and solution walkthroughs that communicate design decisions, data flows, orchestration strategies, and operational procedures to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Partner with finance and accounting domain experts to refine analytical models, calculations, and data interpretations to ensure delivered solutions reflect business policies and regulatory requirements.
• Apply strong access control patterns and governance practices in Snowflake to safeguard confidential financial information while enabling responsible data sharing for decision makers.
• Coordinate deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments to ensure smooth rollouts of new features and updates without affecting ongoing business operations.
• Advise teams on best practices for Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Cortex Code, and core Snowflake usage to help adopt efficient design principles and improve long term solution maintainability.
• Review operational dashboards, logs, and performance metrics to identify issues early and drive continuous improvement in data orchestration reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

• Have strong hands on experience in Snowflake Cortex Code, Snowflake Cortex, and the Snowflake data platform, including design, development, performance tuning, and secure operations for enterprise workloads.
• Prove proficiency in writing complex SQL, designing scalable data models, and implementing efficient transformation logic for finance and accounting analytics and reporting use cases.
• Bring familiarity with finance and accounting concepts including general ledger reporting, reconciliations, and financial metrics to support effective collaboration with domain teams and accurate solution design.
• Demonstrate experience delivering in hybrid setups by coordinating on site and remote collaboration while maintaining clear communication and structured documentation for stakeholders.
• Provide evidence of managing end to end data solutions for eight to twelve years, including requirement analysis, build, testing, deployment, and steady state support in large organizations.
• Show strong problem solving abilities, including troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, data quality concerns, and orchestration failures in Snowflake based environments using systematic diagnostic methods.
• Apply knowledge of the cloud data ecosystem and integration tooling to connect Snowflake with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring smooth data movement, metadata integrity, and dependable analytics.

Certifications Required

Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification or an equivalent advanced Snowflake platform certification is strongly preferred for this role.
