Lead Developer

Job Summary

Lead Developer position within a hybrid work setup at a global technology organization. You will focus on creating scalable enterprise applications for investment banking operations and brokerage solutions using Azure, Angular version range thirteen to eighteen, and Net Core. This role calls for five to eight years of practical development experience, with strong ownership of design and effective collaboration across cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end to end design and development of cloud based enterprise applications on Azure, leveraging Net Core and Angular version range thirteen to eighteen, to produce robust and scalable solutions for investment banking operations customers.

Implement clean, modular, and reusable Angular components and Net Core services to enhance application performance, improve maintainability, and increase overall developer productivity within a hybrid work environment.

Partner with product owners, business analysts, and operations stakeholders to transform complex investment banking and brokerage requirements into clear technical designs, minimizing delivery risk and rework.

Ensure high code quality through consistent peer reviews, static code analysis, and rigorous unit testing, ensuring alignment with company engineering standards and secure development guidelines.

Offer technical leadership to developers on Azure services including app hosting, identity management, data storage, and monitoring to support dependable deployment pipelines and consistent application availability.

Improve and modernize existing Angular and Net Core applications by profiling performance, refactoring critical modules, and refining data access patterns to strengthen user experience and boost transaction throughput.

Work with architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise patterns, including cloud native design principles, integration approaches, and security practices that meet regulatory expectations for financial services.

Run agile delivery execution by estimating efforts, breaking down complex features, and tracking progress to support predictable release cycles for day shift hybrid teams.

Coordinate integration testing and system testing activities with quality engineering teams, validating end to end functional flows, edge cases, and non functional behavior for applications supporting investment banking operations.

Maintain clear technical documentation describing application architecture, coding standards, deployment steps, and support procedures to improve onboarding and reduce operational incidents.

Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues by reviewing logs, metrics, and application traces using Azure monitoring tools to enable swift recovery and long term stability.

Strengthen stakeholder communication by presenting technical tradeoffs, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies in clear, accessible language to support informed decisions and improve trust with business partners.

Drive continuous improvement by proposing new tools, frameworks, and development practices that increase delivery speed, software reliability, and sustainable innovation for clients and society.

Qualifications

Demonstrate strong proficiency building web applications with Angular version range thirteen to eighteen, including expertise in component based architecture, reactive forms, and client side performance optimization.

Provide deep experience with Net Core, including building api services, middleware, data access layers, and maintaining compliance with secure coding practices appropriate for financial domain applications.

Apply hands on Azure knowledge, covering application hosting, identity and access solutions, data storage options, and monitoring capabilities to create resilient and observable systems.

Bring practical understanding of investment banking operations and brokerage processes to shape technical solutions aligned to trade lifecycles, settlement requirements, and regulatory considerations.

Show solid experience of five to eight years in software development roles with growing responsibility across design, code quality oversight, and collaboration across cross functional teams.

Use strong communication and collaboration skills to work with product, technology, and operations partners in a hybrid work arrangement while maintaining consistent day shift availability.
