Job Summary

Lead Developer position within a multinational organization focused on designing, developing, and optimizing advanced front end applications using JavaScript and Angular for investment banking and brokerage platforms. This role works closely with hybrid teams during day shifts to deliver secure, scalable solutions that improve client experiences and boost operational efficiency across global markets.

Responsibilities

Lead the end to end design and implementation of complex front end features using JavaScript and Angular, delivering responsive, high performance interfaces for investment banking and brokerage applications.

Collaborate with product owners and hybrid team members to convert functional requirements into detailed technical solutions that enable accurate trade processing and portfolio management workflows.

Build reusable component architectures and apply state management patterns that reduce code maintenance effort and strengthen long term scalability for client facing trading and reporting tools.

Enhance application performance through front end profiling—cutting latency and fine tuning rendering behavior—to support high volume market data and transaction activity.

Apply secure coding practices and comprehensive error handling across JavaScript and Angular modules to safeguard sensitive financial information and maintain ongoing system reliability.

Partner with backend engineers to establish efficient data contracts and integrate APIs that support smooth interaction between trading systems, risk engines, and client dashboards.

Assess and improve existing code bases by performing structured code reviews, identifying technical debt, and recommending improvements that raise overall engineering quality standards.

Mentor developers in modern Angular patterns, testing strategies, and modular design approaches to cultivate a consistent engineering culture centered on quality and sustainability.

Support hybrid collaboration by coordinating working schedules and communication practices to ensure effective coordination across onsite and remote team members for day shift operations.

Ensure front end application design reflects regulatory and compliance expectations applicable to investment banking operations, supporting accurate reporting and audit readiness.

Investigate production incidents affecting trading or settlement journeys by determining root causes within front end flows and delivering focused fixes to prevent recurrence and increase user trust.

Create clear technical documentation covering application architectures, coding standards, and deployment procedures to streamline onboarding and cross team collaboration.

Deliver domain aware enhancements that improve usability for operations and brokerage users by incorporating workflows familiar to investment banking environments.

Qualifications

Show strong hands on proficiency in JavaScript and Angular frameworks by developing complex front end modules that support high reliability financial applications.
