Sr. Software Engineer B2

Responsibilities

• Design robust, scalable backend services with Java and Spring Boot to power mission-critical business applications and ensure dependable transaction processing
• Build secure, high-performance cloud native solutions using AWS services to improve application performance and operational resilience
• Develop advanced SQL and PL SQL to handle large data sets while maintaining data integrity, consistency, and accuracy
• Refine MySQL relational database schemas and optimize queries to reduce latency and enhance overall application responsiveness
• Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using JavaScript to provide consistent, intuitive experiences across browsers
• Partner with product owners, architects, and testers to clarify requirements and deliver incremental value in a hybrid work environment
• Use secure coding practices and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards and minimize production defects
• Automate unit, integration, and regression testing to strengthen reliability and enable safe deployment of new features and enhancements
• Use observability tools to monitor application health and performance, detect bottlenecks, and address technical issues proactively
• Participate in technical design discussions and maintain documentation to ensure shared understanding and long-term maintainability for complex systems
• Mentor junior engineers in coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to improve team capability and productivity
• Coordinate with DevOps teams to streamline AWS build and deployment pipelines and support continuous integration and delivery
• Lead continuous improvement by analyzing production incidents and implementing sustainable corrective actions to improve system stability
• Ensure engineering solutions align with company goals by supporting responsible technology use and delivering positive outcomes for customers and society

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise scale applications using Java and Spring Boot within complex ecosystems
• Show strong proficiency building and optimizing SQL and PL SQL queries in MySQL and related relational database platforms for high volume workloads
• Exhibit hands on expertise with core AWS services such as compute storage networking and managed databases to build resilient cloud solutions
• Apply solid understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development practices to integrate intuitive interfaces with backend services
• Use practical knowledge of design patterns data structures algorithms and object oriented principles to build maintainable and testable codebases
• Display familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards relevant to cloud hosted applications in a multinational environment
• Possess experience working in hybrid agile teams collaborating through digital tools to deliver features on time and with consistent quality
