Site Supervisor

Overview:

We are on the lookout for a committed Site Supervisor to manage construction operations while ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols. This position demands efficient coordination and oversight to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subcontractors and oversee work to meet specifications and timelines.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to detect and address safety risks.
• Guarantee compliance with safety standards and ensure quality control of materials and equipment on-site.
• Direct and oversee the construction crew and subcontractors throughout the duration of the project.
• Engage with stakeholders and perform inspections in conjunction with relevant authorities.
• Instruct site personnel on safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with design, safety, and budgetary constraints.
• Propose modifications to construction practices or processes to improve efficiency.
• Keep precise documentation and records.
• Execute additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related/equivalent discipline.
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in high-rise construction projects.
• Certification in construction supervision for safety (formerly BCSS), lifting, scaffolding, working at height, and confined spaces.
• Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
