Site Safety Supervisor

Position Overview

1. Oversee daily operations at the site to ensure adherence to safety standards, procedures, and relevant regulations.
2. Perform routine site evaluations, detect hazards and unsafe behaviors, and ensure that corrective measures are taken promptly.
3. Facilitate toolbox talks and verify that all workers and subcontractors are compliant with PPE guidelines and site safety protocols.
4. Keep up-to-date safety records, incident documentation, inspection logs, and HIRARC, and support investigations of accidents or incidents.
5. Hold a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification/registration with DOSH, backed by a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in construction or project site safety.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
2. Registered/approved Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH, possessing relevant competency certification.
3. At least 2 years of pertinent experience in construction, infrastructure, or site safety management.
4. Thorough understanding of HIRARC, Permit to Work (PTW), PPE standards, toolbox discussions, incident documentation, and site assessments.
5. Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination abilities, with a strong capacity to enforce safety standards among workers and subcontractors.
