Senior Engineer (Product & Test Maintenance)

• Test Equipment Administration and Upkeep - Establish and maintain the functionality and software versions of testing equipment.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the essential controls, maintenance routines, precautions, and setup parameters required to fulfill product specifications.
• Oversee the transfer and qualification processes for testing equipment and requirements associated with new products.
• Ensure that all testing hardware and equipment operate at peak efficiency while minimizing downtime.
• Manage the routine preventive maintenance of testing equipment.
• Assess testing equipment and hardware, set control/verification specifications, qualify related tests, and recommend enhancements to improve processes and production.
• Responsible for reducing test duration, simplifying processes, enhancing tester reliability, streamlining equipment conversion, minimizing unnecessary rejections, and improving tester performance.
• Conduct gauge repeatability and reliability studies, correlation studies, and implement actions to enhance these testing capabilities.
• Focus on the simplification and elimination of test processes, reduction of test time, and streamlining equipment conversion.
• Possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and engage with colleagues, fostering teamwork.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in interactions.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficient resource utilization.
• Execute any other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Equipment Maintenance/Testing and familiarity with testing methodologies. Candidates lacking relevant experience may still be considered by the hiring manager based on job specifics, availability of a mentor, and learning duration.
• Proficient in computer literacy, with strong communication skills for reporting information and data. A keen interest in computer hardware engineering is essential.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting various desktop software and components.
• Knowledge of Total Control Methodology for equipment.
