Mechanical Supervisor, Kenering

1. Oversee and manage the mechanical installation, maintenance, repair, and rectification activities at the hydroelectric project site, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and project standards.
2. Conduct inspections and assess the condition of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring that any defects are identified and addressed through appropriate corrective measures.
3. Facilitate daily site operations in collaboration with contractors, engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure safe execution of work in accordance with the established schedule.
4. Evaluate the quality and advancement of mechanical activities, identify any technical challenges or deviations, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
5. Document and maintain comprehensive site records, including inspection reports, progress updates, and work completion documentation.

Qualifications

1. Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical works and site supervision, ideally in hydroelectric, power generation, plant, infrastructure, or similar projects.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, along with expertise in maintenance, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting, with the capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Excellent site supervision, contractor management, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on monitoring work quality and progress.
5. Must be willing to be stationed at the project site in Kenering, Gerik, Perak, and adhere to project and operational needs.
