Site Safety Supervisor, Bersia

1. Oversee and manage safety operations on-site to ensure adherence to established safety protocols, project specifications, and relevant regulations.
2. Perform daily inspections of the site, conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks, and quickly identify unsafe behaviors, conditions, and potential risks.
3. Ensure that contractors and site staff adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) mandates, permit-to-work protocols, and safe working methodologies.
4. Assist in documenting incidents, investigating occurrences, and implementing corrective and preventive measures to uphold a safe work environment.
5. Maintain accurate safety documentation, including inspection records, checklists, and reports, while providing regular updates to the project team.

Qualifications

1. A minimum degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in site safety supervision, ideally in hydroelectric, power generation, engineering, infrastructure, or related project settings.
3. Possession of a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification/competency recognized by the appropriate Malaysian authority.
4. Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, permit-to-work procedures, and incident reporting.
5. Willingness to be stationed at the project site in Bersia, Gerik, Perak, and work according to the demands of the project and site.
