Project Manager Mechanical (BOPM & HME)

Job Overview

1. Direct, plan, and supervise all mechanical operations related to BOPM and HME, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in line with project specifications, technical guidelines, quality benchmarks, and established timelines.
2. Oversee and coordinate the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, rehabilitation, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
3. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, engineers, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams to address technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
4. Track project advancement, resources, quality, safety, risks, and contractor performance, applying necessary corrective measures to meet project goals.
5. Examine and manage technical documentation, project timelines, progress reports, method statements, testing records, and project handover documentation.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in mechanical engineering and project management, ideally within the realms of hydroelectric, power generation, energy, or other extensive engineering ventures.
3. Comprehensive technical expertise in mechanical systems, plant equipment, BOPM, and HME, encompassing installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and rehabilitation processes.
4. Exceptional project management, leadership, contractor management, and technical problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary stakeholders and project outcomes.
5. Availability to be stationed at the project site in Gerik, Perak, and to work according to project and operational demands.
