Site Engineer (Building Project)

Our client, a well-established building & construction firm, invites a high-potential individual to join the team as a Site Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interpret technical drawings, provide technical guidance, and support the resolution of construction issues while ensuring full compliance with the Project Quality Plan, safety requirements, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with the QAQC team for inspections, maintain accurate records of work and materials, and ensure quality performance aligns with customer requirements.
• Partner with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to manage site issues, resolve discrepancies, and overcome construction challenges.
• Cost and Contract Management: Monitor project variations, claims, and cost impacts, and implement cost control measures to meet budget requirements.
• Reporting and Compliance: Produce site reports, track project progress, and ensure adherence to contractual requirements, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Assess project outcomes, record lessons learned, and apply best practices to drive continuous improvement for future projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years in building and construction projects.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, busy environment.

• Location: West
• Working hours: 5.5 Days
• Salary: up to S$4,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
