Primary Responsibilities
Develop and oversee release Test Plans that encompass test stages, entry/exit criteria, test data, defect management, and testing metrics.
Create test scenarios, scripts, and anticipated results derived from user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring comprehensive end-to-end traceability.
Direct the test automation strategy and framework, constructing and enhancing automated test suites starting from the initial sprint.
Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and sustain regression suites for each delivery increment.
Carry out system, regression, and integration testing within the designated sprint timelines.
Plan and execute performance testing alongside the Performance Engineer, analyze outcomes, and identify performance bottlenecks.
Oversee the defect lifecycle, which includes triage, root-cause classification, resolution tracking, and reporting.
Prepare UAT test artifacts and assist business users during the testing phase.
Establish testing standards and review test artifacts across teams to guarantee consistent quality and coverage.
Utilize AI tools to create test scenarios and scripts, ensuring their coverage and accuracy prior to implementation.
Deliver presentations on test results, unresolved defects, risks, and readiness for release at sprint reviews and governance meetings.
Collaborate with product, engineering, development, and performance teams to uphold quality standards throughout the delivery process.
Essential Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years' experience in Software QA, including expertise in building and sustaining automated test suites from the ground up.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining Test Plans, test scenarios, scripts, and test metrics.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Experience in API test automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Background in performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, k6, or comparable, including test execution and bottleneck analysis.
Advanced SQL proficiency for data validation, backend verification, and migration reconciliation.
Extensive experience with JIRA in areas such as test management, defect tracking, and requirements traceability.
Demonstrated ability to manage the complete testing lifecycle, set testing standards, and review test artifacts across various teams.
Exceptional skills in root-cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
Experience with AI tools for test generation, including the ability to validate and enhance generated outputs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Singapore Government projects or knowledge of Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC).
Background in data migration testing and reconciliation.
Familiarity with enforcement, regulatory, licensing, or case management systems.
ISTQB certification or other relevant testing credentials.
