Primary Responsibilities
Take ownership of the functional design for the designated product area, which includes crafting user stories, establishing business rules, and formulating testable acceptance criteria.
Record requirements in JIRA and Confluence while leading functional walkthroughs with engineering teams.
Evaluate current platform capabilities and promote process standardization across organizations, minimizing customizations and escalating any significant deviations.
Lead stakeholder workshops, outline common user journeys, and present functional designs to the Product Owner for approval.
Examine user journeys and UI designs to ensure they align with business processes and operational demands.
Design and implement test cases, prepare test data, conduct sprint integration testing, manage defect triage, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Create and sustain automated regression tests utilizing Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
Utilize SQL to troubleshoot data issues, focusing on joins, aggregations, and audit history.
Employ AI tools to draft and assess user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and UI prototypes, ensuring that the outputs align with business needs.
Organize sprint analysis and testing tasks, mentor the Product Analyst, and collaborate with product, engineering, testing, and business stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, with exposure to Singapore Government Agile delivery within a sprint-driven environment.
Demonstrated experience in documenting current processes, defining target-state journeys, and converting requirements into actionable user stories.
Familiarity with discovery/design sprints, JIRA, Confluence, and formulating testable acceptance criteria.
Experience collaborating with Product Owners on scope, functional design, and acceptance sign-off processes.
Experience engaging with government users, preferably in regulatory or enforcement contexts.
Intermediate SQL proficiency and practical experience in test automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent technologies.
Hands-on experience with AI tools for business analysis or functional design, with the capability to validate generated outputs.
A strong grasp of the Agile delivery lifecycle, which includes functional design, integration testing, defect management, UAT, and regression testing.
Exceptional stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capacity to oversee both analysis and testing activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) or Singapore Government cloud infrastructures.
Experience in enforcement, regulatory, licensing, or case management sectors.
