SIT Consultant (SAP)

We are seeking a skilled Integration Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of System Integration Testing (SIT) for a comprehensive SAP transformation initiative.

Role Overview:

• Develop and oversee the SIT strategy, defining its scope, schedule, and execution plan.
• Establish governance for SIT, including test entry and exit criteria, along with release-readiness checkpoints.
• Lead comprehensive integration testing for SAP and associated enterprise applications.
• Coordinate testing efforts among various vendors, internal teams, and external platforms.
• Manage integration testing processes between SAP and interfacing systems, such as finance systems, trading and CTRM platforms, CRM applications, data warehouses, reporting and analytics platforms, master data solutions, middleware platforms, and third-party applications.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure validation of end-to-end business processes across multiple systems.
• Oversee integration dependencies, interface readiness, message flows, and data reconciliation tasks.
• Establish and direct the SIT defect triage process.
• Conduct regular defect review and prioritization sessions.
• Implement SIT governance standards, reporting frameworks, and control measures.
• Generate and deliver SIT status reports that encompass test progress, defect metrics, integration risks, environment readiness, dependencies, and release preparedness.
• Provide consistent updates to program leadership, the PMO, and relevant governance groups.
• Act as the primary liaison among Business Process Owners, SAP functional and technical teams, integration and middleware teams, vendor delivery teams, testing teams, the PMO, and program leadership.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies related to SIT.
• Maintain testing RAID logs, detailing owners, due dates, and mitigation strategies.
• Proactively oversee cross-system dependencies that influence test execution.
• Recommend corrective measures to safeguard program timelines and quality objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in delivering enterprise applications, testing, integration management, or ERP transformation programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading System Integration Testing for extensive SAP implementations.
• Proven ability to manage SIT across 10 or more integrated applications and platforms.
• Successful track record of coordinating multiple vendors, integration teams, SAP workstreams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong background in end-to-end process testing, interface and API testing, middleware validation, cross-system data reconciliation, defect triage, and release-readiness evaluation.
• Experience in executing SIT within intricate ERP transformations that involve multiple systems, interfaces, and integration points.
• Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams and external implementation partners.
