Senior Technical Program Manager (AI Infrastructure Deployment)

Position Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Technical Program Manager (TPM) to spearhead the on-site implementation of extensive AI infrastructure and GPU clusters throughout Southeast Asia. This role will act as the principal deployment authority, ensuring seamless coordination from the moment racks are delivered to the successful handoff to customers.

The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in datacenter deployment, coupled with exceptional skills in stakeholder management and project leadership. This individual will be actively engaged at deployment locations and will take the lead in executing tasks on the datacenter floor.

This position entails significant travel across Southeast Asia.

Physical Datacenter Deployment

• Oversee the rollout of GPU-driven AI infrastructure in hyperscale facilities.
• Manage all processes from rack arrival to installation, commissioning, validation, and operational handover.
• Guarantee deployment readiness prior to equipment arrival.
• Facilitate site preparation, logistics, deployment teams, vendors, and operations stakeholders.

Program Execution

• Act as the primary on-site authority throughout deployment operations.
• Develop and implement deployment strategies and timelines.
• Lead resolution of issues and escalate as necessary.
• Ensure accountability for achieving milestones and readiness.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with a variety of partners, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide daily updates and status reports to leadership.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Build credibility and authority while fostering a collaborative and modest working environment.

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in datacenter infrastructure.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale deployment initiatives.
• Experience in roles such as:
• Datacenter Technician
• Deployment Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Datacenter Deployment Lead
• Datacenter Manager
• IT Operations Manager
• Datacenter Project Manager

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in rack deployment methodologies
• Experience with GPU infrastructure deployment
• Knowledge of datacenter commissioning processes
• Understanding of Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
• Logistics management capabilities
• Infrastructure readiness assessments
• Operational handoff methodologies

Leadership Skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility deployments.
• Excellent written communication abilities.
• Capability to produce executive-level reports.
• Skill in establishing authority on-site while maintaining robust partnerships.

Success Metrics
