Regional Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to oversee finance and accounting functions throughout the Asia region, focusing on strategic initiatives and operational excellence in financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to subsidiary leaders and finance teams. Develop and implement efficient finance policies and practices, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and standards. Work collaboratively with finance divisions to ensure policies meet business needs. Manage financial projects such as mergers and acquisitions. Address operational risks associated with finance and accounting functions. Conduct reviews of financial statements and processes to guarantee accuracy and compliance. Lead activities related to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Oversee tax compliance and enhance filing procedures. Supervise treasury operations, including cash management and capital funding. Provide financial insights for investment strategies and decision-making processes. Improve accounting policies and internal controls to promote operational efficiency. Mentor and develop the finance team's capabilities. Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives that add value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; CA preferred. A minimum of 15 years of finance and accounting experience, including tax expertise. At least 5 years of experience within the APAC region, ideally with multinational companies. Strong knowledge of financial regulatory compliance in Singapore. Demonstrated experience in financial restructuring and corporate transactions. Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities. Capacity to manage confidential information with discretion. Keen attention to detail and strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to travel as necessary.
