In line with their ongoing transformation and growth, they are seeking to appoint an Assistant Manager / Manager, FP&A to help strengthen strategic financial planning, costing initiatives, and business partnering activities across the organisation.

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance leadership team, you will play a key role in enabling financial planning, analysis, costing, and business partnering efforts across the hospital.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate costing exercises and financial submissions, ensuring adherence to healthcare funding and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct costing, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for healthcare services, programmes, and initiatives.
• Assess the financial feasibility of capital expenditure requests, business cases, and strategic projects.
• Review cost drivers, utilisation trends, and operational performance to uncover opportunities for process improvement and value creation.
• Assist with the upkeep and enhancement of financial systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders on system implementations, enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce ad hoc financial analyses, management reports, and presentations to support organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business partnering, management reporting, costing, or commercial finance.
• Strong analytical ability, financial modelling skills, and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across a range of business functions.
• Experience with SAP, costing methodologies, pricing analysis, or handling large datasets would be advantageous.
• A proactive approach with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
