Job Description

In the role of Vendor Management & Governance Manager, you will help deliver key transformation activities spanning procurement operations, third-party governance, and resilience risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the implementation of procurement and third-party management transformation initiatives, ensuring they remain aligned with business objectives and governance requirements.
• Own the management and upkeep of supplier and contract data, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and compliant across third-party management platforms.
• Work closely with Procurement, Vendor Management, and business stakeholders to strengthen supplier onboarding, contract administration, and ongoing supplier governance practices.
• Track supplier-related data and performance metrics to detect trends, identify gaps, and recommend areas for process improvement.
• Create management reporting, dashboards, and MI packs using tools such as Qlik Sense to deliver visibility into supplier performance and operational effectiveness.
• Support the assessment of supplier records, contracts, and governance documentation to meet regulatory, audit, and compliance needs.
• Investigate and resolve matters connected to supplier governance, contract records, and procurement processes.
• Contribute to change delivery, including process redesign, data remediation, stakeholder engagement, training, and communications.
• Partner with regional and global teams to promote consistency across procurement and third-party management frameworks.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful as a Vendor Management & Governance Manager, you should have:

• Experience in Procurement Operations, Third Party Management, Supplier Governance, Vendor Management, or another closely related function.
• Experience supporting procurement transformation, changes to operating models, process improvements, or regulatory remediation programmes.
• A strong understanding of the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, contract management, supplier performance monitoring, and governance controls.
• Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience producing reporting and dashboards using Qlik Sense or comparable data visualisation tools.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to work effectively across large datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with procurement, operations, risk, and business teams.
