Our client is a global industrial manufacturing organisation with a well-established footprint across APAC. After substantial regional expansion and continued transformation programmes, they are looking for a Head of Finance to collaborate with regional leadership and drive business performance throughout the region.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global CFO and acting as an integral part of the APAC leadership team, this role will oversee the regional finance organisation across multiple countries and business units. The scope goes beyond conventional finance controllership—this position is built as a strategic finance leadership role, enabling business growth, operational excellence and finance transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

• Own and lead the finance function across APAC markets, delivering both strategic guidance and day-to-day operational support.
• Work closely with regional commercial and operational leaders to drive business performance and support profitable growth.
• Build and maintain a strong regional finance framework spanning planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• Contribute to integration efforts across acquired businesses, ensuring consistent processes, controls and governance.
• Lead finance transformation programmes to enhance efficiency, improve visibility and strengthen decision-making.
• Deliver commercial insights and recommendations across pricing, margin improvement, cost optimisation and investment decisions.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across multiple jurisdictions.
• Improve working capital outcomes, strengthen cash flow management and uphold financial discipline organisation-wide.
• Enable collaboration across country finance teams and develop a high-performing regional finance organisation.

The Successful Applicant

You are an experienced regional finance leader with a track record in complex, multi-country industrial settings. You bring a strategic mindset alongside a hands-on working style, and you are confident engaging in both executive-level discussions and operational delivery.

• Professional Accounting qualification and/or postgraduate finance qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology or related industries.
• Proven experience leading finance teams across multiple APAC markets.
• Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting organisational transformation, acquisitions or integration activities.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain finance and cost management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to succeed in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
• Hands-on leadership style with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
