Job Description

• Overseeing the timely settlement of securities trades and maintaining precise trade processing
• Tracking and resolving settlement breaks and failed trades in line with strict market deadlines
• Extensive coordination with brokers, custodians, agent banks, and external counterparties
• Assisting with trade matching, reconciliation, and exception management
• Examining operational concerns and implementing robust solutions to minimise risk
• Preparing recurring operational and management reporting
• Partnering with trading desks and internal stakeholders to support smooth transaction processing and high-quality client service

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Stock Loan, Securities Settlements, Middle Office, Trade Support, or Investment Banking Operations
• A strong understanding of equities products and post-trade workflows
• Experience handling trade exceptions, reconciliations, and settlement processes
• The ability to work effectively within a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capability
• Thorough attention to detail and a strong risk-control mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard operational reporting tools
