Project Consultant / Manager - Cyber Security

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, management, and execution of cybersecurity projects from start to finish, including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Asset Discovery, Risk Assessment, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Create detailed project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource distribution to guarantee on-time and within-scope project delivery. Track project advancement, pinpoint risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate concerns when necessary. Generate and deliver project status updates, reports, and dashboards to relevant stakeholders and management. Execute IT risk assessment projects, focusing on risk identification and treatment strategies. Partner with IT, security, and business teams to analyze controls and identify potential weaknesses. Ensure clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a related field in Cybersecurity. At least 3 years of experience in project management within IT risk, governance, or compliance. Strong grasp of IT risk assessment methodologies and risk treatment strategies. Knowledge of GRC frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST, is a plus. Skilled in project management functions, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting. Demonstrated capability to effectively manage multiple workstreams and engage various stakeholders. Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles. Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to produce engaging presentation materials. A robust team player with strong communication abilities and a positive professional demeanor.
