Bmc Remedy Consultant

Position Overview

We seek a skilled BMC Remedy Professional to oversee, customize, sustain, and support our enterprise Service Management platform. In this capacity, you will be tasked with crafting workflow solutions, ensuring system integrity, managing essential ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, SRM, CMDB), and facilitating the integration of BMC Remedy with external systems and tools.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and tailor workflows, forms, and applications utilizing Remedy Developer Studio.
• Administer the BMC Remedy AR System (On-Premises), encompassing user permissions, foundational data, server upkeep, and patch upgrades.
• Oversee key ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, SRM, and CMDB.
• Develop and sustain integrations via REST API, Web Services, and Mid-Tier configurations.
• Diagnose system/AR Server issues and ensure alignment with ITIL standards.

Candidate Profile

• Core Skills: BMC Remedy AR System, Developer Studio, Remedy Mid-Tier, Smart IT, CMDB.
• Integration & Database Knowledge: REST API, Web Services, SQL Server / Oracle DB queries.
• Deep familiarity with the ITIL v3/v4 framework.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
