IT Support Engineer (7pm to 7am)

Overview

This position is essential for delivering vital assistance to IT infrastructure and internal systems, ensuring that business users experience seamless operations. The role demands proactive participation and collaboration within the IT department.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary support contact for internal business personnel regarding IT-related issues, such as computers, printers, and other devices. Facilitate new function testing, implementation, training, and ongoing support. Coordinate with central IT teams to ensure security compliance and implement necessary protocols. Oversee IT assets, which includes purchasing, installation, configuration, and maintaining accurate documentation. Perform regular internal IT audits in accordance with established policies and provide insights on areas of non-compliance. Develop and sustain a comprehensive knowledge base and FAQ to improve troubleshooting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a similar discipline. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in SAP, Oracle Application Server, and MySQL is required. Capability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset along with strong teamwork abilities are essential. Previous experience in manufacturing, shop floor control systems, or network and server support is advantageous.
