Senior Systems Engineer (OneStream/Hyperion)

Role Overview

The individual in this position will primarily concentrate on enhancing OneStream operations and developing system capabilities to ensure that Month-End and Planning processes are executed efficiently and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial systems to facilitate month-end closing, consolidation, and reporting tasks.
• Oversee and contribute to the implementation, configuration, and integration of the OneStream platform with current business systems.
• Offer continuous guidance, training, and support to finance users to enhance the effectiveness and usage of OneStream.
• Design, maintain, and improve system solutions, financial models, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Regularly assess, optimize, and automate system processes while remaining informed about industry best practices to drive ongoing enhancements.

Relevant Competencies:

• Capable of converting finance and business needs into system specifications, collaborating effectively across teams, and ensuring technology meets business requirements.
• Proven experience in process enhancement, change management, and technical solution delivery—utilizing data analysis, system administration, and meticulous attention to detail.
• A foundational understanding of financial accounting and reporting is beneficial, along with knowledge of the significance of master data in complex organizations and a desire to expand finance expertise.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience with financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, or EPM Cloud is advantageous.
• Strong passion for financial systems and leveraging technology to enhance performance and outcomes.
• Prior knowledge of C#, VB.Net, or SQL is desirable.
• Familiarity with system administration and setup is a plus.
• Experience with OneStream, S4 HANA, or any financial system is beneficial.
• Knowledge of API and automation is advantageous.
• Basic comprehension of financial processes and principles.
