DevOps Engineer

Position:

• We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to provide support for critical applications and platform services in a large-scale enterprise setting located in Singapore.
• This role is hands-on and integrates Day 2 production support, CI/CD engineering, Kubernetes/container management, and automation tasks.
• You will engage in the entire operational lifecycle, which includes deployment, monitoring, incident resolution, recovery, and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for essential applications and platforms in a live production environment.
• Analyze incidents, troubleshoot problems, and conduct root cause analyses.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications utilizing Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Assist in production releases, rollback procedures, and post-deployment validation processes.
• Automate repetitive operational and deployment tasks through scripting.
• Monitor the health of applications and platforms, including logs, alerts, and resource usage.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, Linux, container, and platform layers.
• Create proofs of concept for automation, DevOps practices, and platform enhancements.
• Support patching, configuration management, certificate management, and preventive maintenance efforts.
• Contribute to activities related to high availability, disaster recovery, and service restoration.
• Maintain runbooks, deployment protocols, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in DevOps, production support, application support, platform engineering, or systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience in supporting live enterprise or production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Docker / Podman and Kubernetes.
• Experience in scripting or automation using Bash, Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with production deployments, incident troubleshooting, monitoring, and log analysis.
• Working knowledge of Git/source control and release management processes.
• Adept at troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers.
