Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to enhance digital and data initiatives within the shipping sector. In this role, you will collaborate extensively with business stakeholders, product managers, developers, and data teams to identify operational challenges, gather requirements, analyze data, and implement technology solutions that drive improved business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Convert business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and data teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Examine business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Assist in Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Analyze operational and business data to provide insights and support informed decision-making.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of technology solutions.
Essential Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Solid understanding of shipping lines and operations.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration with technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a track record of interpreting data and resolving business challenges.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is highly desirable.
