IT Project Manager (Application & System Projects)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to collect requirements and assist in system design, development, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
• Engage closely with solution architects, technical architects, and information architects to guarantee that applications are resilient and in line with enterprise architecture standards.
• Craft and implement high-quality, functional solutions, prioritizing an exceptional user experience.
• Organize, monitor, and oversee application development, enhancements, and maintenance tasks to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Facilitate and assist in system, user acceptance, and security testing before application release.
• Provide continuous application support, collaborating with product and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve defects and production challenges.
• Track application performance and service reliability, working with relevant stakeholders to address production concerns.
• Lead and oversee development teams, managing work planning, task distribution, progress monitoring, technical support, and delivery management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience in application development, enhancement, maintenance, and project delivery throughout the complete system development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience in managing application development and maintenance initiatives with cross-functional product and technical teams.
• Hands-on expertise in Java application design, development, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and SQL is considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams, including work planning, task distribution, technical support, and oversight of delivery.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
• Certifications in Project Management, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis are beneficial.
