We are looking for a Senior Engineer (L3 Escalation Specialist) with extensive knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift container platforms and Linux systems to join our Singapore team. This position will act as the primary technical escalation point for intricate platform and OS-level challenges within enterprise hybrid cloud settings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Red Hat OpenShift Platform Support

• Act as L3 escalation support for the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) in both on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and sustain OpenShift clusters, control plane, worker nodes, etcd, and ingress/egress components.
• Oversee OpenShift upgrades, patching, and version lifecycle management.
• Identify and resolve issues related to pods, deployments, namespaces, persistent volumes, operators, and Service Mesh (Istio).
• Implement and uphold Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), network policies, and security contexts.
• Facilitate integrations with enterprise tools (Active Directory, SSO, Splunk, BigFix, Ansible).
• Enforce hardening standards on OpenShift and container images according to CIS benchmarks.

2. Linux Platform Support

• Deliver L3 support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) and additional Linux distributions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for OS-level incidents such as kernel panics, performance issues, storage failures, and networking complications.
• Manage system hardening, patching, and compliance efforts in alignment with security standards.
• Administer system services, daemons, cron jobs, startup processes (systemd), PAM, sudoers, and access permissions.
• Support enterprise storage management (LVM, NFS, iSCSI, multipathing) and networking (firewalld, SELinux, routing, DNS).
• Create and maintain automation scripts utilizing Bash, Python, or Ansible.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Total Experience: 7+ years in Linux System Administration or Platform Engineering.
• OpenShift Proficiency: 3+ years of practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP 4.x).
• OS Expertise: Strong skills in RHEL 7/8/9 administration and advanced troubleshooting.
• Architecture Insights: Comprehensive understanding of KubeVirt architecture, KVM, and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Storage & Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise storage configurations and network routing/security protocols.
• Automation Skills: Hands-on experience in automation scripting using Ansible, Bash, or Python.
