Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Python developer to play a key role in the advancement and optimization of cloud-native backend systems. This position emphasizes backend development, performance enhancement, and scalable data processing in a vibrant and rapidly evolving setting.

Position Overview:

• Oversee the transition of legacy scripts to cloud-based infrastructures.
• Design, construct, and sustain scalable data integration and processing pipelines.
• Establish automated and integrated testing frameworks to guarantee code quality and dependability.
• Enhance performance for extensive data sets, focusing on speed and efficiency tuning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to articulate technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Employ robust database design and optimization strategies to facilitate high-performance data operations.
• Utilize cloud services (e.g., AWS) and/or tools such as Spark/Airflow for orchestration and distributed processing.
• Assist in the development of the data engineering platform, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and business objectives.
• Leverage Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in Python development, particularly in backend and data engineering roles.
• Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of data engineering principles, including ETL, data integration, and distributed processing.
• Practical experience with Airflow, Apache Spark, or similar orchestration tools.
• Strong command of SQL, database design, and performance tuning techniques.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and integration testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with .NET is a plus.
• Expertise in version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and Agile development practices.
