Front Office FICC Credit Support

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Front Office Credit Trading Support expert to become a part of a prominent global financial institution. This position involves close collaboration with Front Office personnel, technology teams, and business stakeholders to guarantee the stability, availability, and performance of essential trading and risk management platforms. Operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting, the ideal candidate will leverage technical proficiency, analytical problem-solving skills, and stakeholder engagement abilities to facilitate vital business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver L1/L2 support to Front Office Credit Trading and Sales teams.
• Act as the primary contact for trader inquiries, trade investigations, and business support requests.
• Assist in the daily operations of trading platforms to ensure a seamless trading experience for users.
• Investigate trade-related issues, such as booking discrepancies, missing trades, settlement inquiries, and workflow exceptions.
• Coordinate with technology, middle office, operations, and other support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Monitor key trading activities and escalate issues as necessary.
• Support trade lifecycle investigations and conduct front-to-back process flow analysis for Credit and Fixed Income products.
• Assist business users with system functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and addressing process-related queries.
• Utilize tools including Bloomberg, SQL, Excel, and other support applications for analysis and investigation of issues.
• Maintain consistent communication with traders and stakeholders, providing timely updates on unresolved issues.
• Contribute to the enhancement of operational processes and identify opportunities to improve user experience and service quality.
• Assist with new business initiatives, platform onboarding processes, and production readiness reviews as needed.

Key Qualifications

• Experience in supporting Front Office Trading, Sales, or Risk teams within a banking or financial markets setting.
• Solid understanding of Credit products, Fixed Income products, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Prior experience in Trade Floor Support, Markets Support, Middle Office, Product Control, or Front Office Support roles.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and relationship building, with the capacity to interact confidently with traders and senior business users.
• Exceptional communication abilities and a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency for trade investigations and issue analysis.
• Familiarity with Excel, particularly with VBA, is advantageous.
• Experience with FIX messaging protocols is a plus.
• Preferred experience with Bloomberg or similar market data platforms.
• Understanding of front-to-back operational processes and trade flows.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with business and technology teams.
