Senior Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and management of project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for multiple initiatives.
• Analyze contract provisions to pinpoint risks, conflicts, and inconsistencies, and recommend solutions to mitigate potential issues.
• Track the progress of construction programs, identify delays, and evaluate their consequences.
• Oversee the preparation, submission, and negotiation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims along with associated contractual documents.
• Create comprehensive progress audits and reports, including S-Curves, KPI productivity metrics, and programming health assessments.
• Establish baseline schedules that incorporate resource and cost allocations.
• Develop commissioning and construction work programs tailored for various trades.
• Design recovery programs and present pivotal strategies for project recovery efforts.
• Offer guidance on post-contract claims, disputes, and litigation issues related to scheduling.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
• Hands-on proficiency with Primavera P6.
• In-depth understanding of project controls, critical path analysis, delay analysis techniques, and EOT claim preparation.
• Proven ability to manage intricate project schedules and effectively communicate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
