Senior Planner (Civil & Digital Transformation)

Position Overview:

Become a vital member of our innovative team as a Senior Planner, focusing on Civil Engineering and Digital Transformation. This position uniquely combines conventional project planning with cutting-edge digital development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed baseline schedules (CPM) for intricate civil works tenders and active projects, employing Primavera P6 or Synchro 4D Pro.
• Lead the development and evaluation of 4D BIM schedules, merging time data with 3D models to optimize logistics and identify clashes.
• Conduct in-depth reviews of tender documents, method statements, and structural drawings to ensure efficient construction sequences, effective resource allocation, and accurate cash flow forecasting.
• Execute risk assessments on schedules, pinpointing critical path constraints through Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and implement automation solutions for project reporting and data collection, such as integrating P6 data with Power BI.
• Assess and trial new project management platforms, 4D/5D BIM software, and site tracking tools to boost operational productivity.
• Lead the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in project controls to refine scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Support change management initiatives by training and onboarding team members on new digital workflows and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, specifically in significant civil works like infrastructure and concrete structures.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and managing 4D construction sequences, with a preference for prior experience on relevant projects.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and solid knowledge of MS Project, with essential experience in Synchro 4D Pro; familiarity with tools such as Fuzor or Navisworks is a plus.
• High-level skills in Power BI and Excel; exposure to Python or SQL is an added advantage.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Robust strategic thinking abilities to effectively assess technology ROI.
• A demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and digital workflows.
