Senior Pega Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pega Developer to assist in the development, enhancement, and ongoing support of Pega applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, enhance, test, and launch Pega applications, including case management, workflows, data pages, decision rules, user interface components, and integrations.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, application defects, and performance-related challenges.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement long-term solutions to eliminate recurring problems.
• Troubleshoot integration issues involving REST APIs, web services, messaging, and enterprise systems.
• Perform technical impact assessments for defects, incidents, enhancements, and change requests.
• Assist with System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation validation.
• Execute code reviews to ensure adherence to Pega guardrails, security standards, and coding best practices.
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Generate technical and operational documentation.
• Provide mentorship and technical insights to junior developers and support teams.
• Identify and recommend enhancements for application performance, maintainability, and operational workflows.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of direct experience in Pega application development, implementation, and support.
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification is required.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with the Pega Platform, encompassing Case Management, Flows, Data Pages, Activities, Decision Rules, UI, Integrations, Reports, Correspondence, Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, and security configurations.
• Experience in supporting production environments, including incident investigation, defect resolution, root cause analysis, impact assessments, and enhancement implementations.
• Proficient in troubleshooting REST APIs, web services, messaging, and enterprise system integrations.
• Familiarity with Pega troubleshooting tools such as Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, Performance Analyzer (PAL), and log analysis.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).
• Experience with Pega Cloud SaaS or migration projects to Pega Cloud.
• Familiarity with the features and capabilities of Pega Infinity '25.

Job Details:

• Contract Duration: 2 years
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Work conducted outside of regular hours may be eligible for overtime pay and transport reimbursement, pending approval.)

• Target Start Date: January 2027
• Completion Bonus: 1 month per year for a duration of 1 year
