Senior Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues on production test boards, providing real-time troubleshooting for any hardware malfunctions.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and evaluate initial prototypes of the designed test boards.
• Collaborate closely with test hardware design engineers located in INDIA and the U.S.
• Work alongside software and firmware developers to ensure seamless integration of hardware with the software layer.
• Assist in the transition of new tests from INDIA/USA or other locations while establishing testing debug methodologies and procedures.
• Take charge of electrical hardware development aimed at enhancing the performance testing of transceiver modules and their components.
• Create prototype or engineering samples and conduct evaluations to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Execute initial BOM setup, test protocols, manufacturing test processes, and engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical hardware development, ideally in high-speed digital design.
• Proficient knowledge of both analog and digital circuit design, as well as RF circuit design.
• Familiarity with PCB vendor selection and evaluation, electronics hardware interfacing, and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and equipment.
• Experience with documentation control systems to track test environments, with a preference for Agile methodologies.
• Skills in the verification and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and equipment.
• Competence in using window-based workstation environments.
• Basic understanding of microcontroller programming.
• Some software skills necessary to debug within a test environment.
