Job Overview:
Primary Responsibilities
Business Process & Requirements Gathering
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with finance teams and relevant stakeholders.
Evaluate current processes, identify deficiencies, and devise ERP solutions that meet accounting and reporting requirements.
Document requirements in Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and ensure prompt client approvals.
ERP Finance Configuration
Configure and tailor ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting, etc.).
Ensure all solutions adhere to accounting standards and accurately represent double-entry transactions.
Project Management & Implementation
Oversee end-to-end ERP implementation projects, ensuring milestones are met within the defined scope and budget.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Manage change requests with appropriate documentation, approval, and billing processes.
Testing & Go-Live Support
Create and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios that reflect genuine finance processes.
Coordinate cutover planning and Go-Live execution with minimal disruption to clients.
Offer robust post-Go-Live support and facilitate issue resolution.
Client Training & Relationship Building
Lead end-user training sessions, workshops, and develop training materials for finance teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor by suggesting process enhancements, automation, and ongoing improvements.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
Support and mentor junior consultants in ERP configuration and project methodologies.
Disseminate ERP Finance and accounting best practices across project teams.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT (a professional accounting qualification is a bonus).
5+ years of experience in ERP Finance functional consulting, with comprehensive lifecycle implementation experience.
Demonstrated capability in delivering complex, end-to-end ERP Finance projects.
In-depth understanding of finance and accounting processes: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting, Reconciliations.
Hands-on experience with double-entry accounting and financial transactions.
Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with finance leaders and C-level stakeholders.
Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
