Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer Operations professional to manage the daytoday operations of our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will monitor maintain troubleshoot and optimize network performance while ensuring security and reliability. You will collaborate with IT teams and vendors to enable business operations and resolve networkrelated issues. This position includes a 247 support system.

Key Responsibilities

Network Monitoring Maintenance

Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds

Ensure uptime and availability of network devices including routers switches firewalls and VPNs

Perform routine network health checks and preventive maintenance

Troubleshooting Incident Response

Diagnose and resolve network issues involving latency connectivity and security

Provide Level 23 support for networkrelated incidents and escalate when needed

Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to address network outages and performance issues

Configure and install network devices including switches firewalls and wireless access points

Implement and maintain VLANs QoS and routing protocols such as OSPF BGP and EIGRP

Manage IP address allocation and DNS configurations

Support network security by implementing firewall rules and VPNs

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards

Documentation Reporting

Maintain detailed network diagrams configurations and SOPs

Create network performance reports and incident logs for analysis

Keep records of hardware and software inventory

Collaboration Support

Collaborate with crossfunctional IT teams to support business applications and cloud services

Assist with network capacity planning and upgrade projects

Provide technical guidance to team members and IT support teams

Required Skills Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field or equivalent experience

Knowledge on Palo Alto firewalls is must

Handson experience with Cisco Palo Alto firewalls

Should have strong understanding of rules creation in Palo alto firewalls

3 years of experience in network operations administration or engineering

Strong knowledge of TCPIP routing protocols OSPF BGP and LANWAN concepts

Proficiency in network monitoring tools Wireshark SolarWinds

Familiarity with security protocols firewalls VPNs and wireless networking

Knowledge of SDWAN is a plus

Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Certifications Preferred

Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA

Palo Alto PCNSAPCNSE

Work Environment

Rotational oncall support may be required
