Our client is a prominent engineering and construction firm specializing in the design and execution of large-scale, significant projects. They are seeking a seasoned Senior Architect to join their growing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the design, detailing, specification development, and construction oversight for various architectural projects, emphasizing advanced technology and EPC endeavors such as life sciences, data centers, and semiconductor facilities.
• Create architectural system designs and work closely with the Commercial Group to determine costs during programming, conceptual, and detailed design stages for large and intricate advanced technology and EPC-related projects.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to local authority regulations.
• Establish and define sustainability objectives.
• Review architectural designs produced by team members for alignment with client/customer specifications.
• Assess all architectural tender documents.
• Implement and monitor design checklists.
• Facilitate internal design reviews with support from the COC.
• Act as the representative of the Architecture Department in monthly client meetings.
• Document lessons learned and provide briefings to the COC.
• Formulate recovery plans addressing design, cost, and scheduling challenges.
• Guide and mentor senior architects to ensure adequate training and support the continued growth of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree in Architecture with 10 - 12 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• At least 10 years of design and construction experience in the high-tech sector or other multidisciplinary construction environments.
• Experience working in Singapore and comprehensive knowledge of local authority regulations.
• Strong aptitude for technical problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively and confidently.
• Thorough understanding of local codes and regulations for design implementation.
• Proven leadership skills to influence teams.
• Experience in stakeholder management.

• Location: Western region
• Working hours: Varies by project
• Salary: To be discussed based on experience (Compensation will align with experience and qualifications).
