SAP Technical Lead

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for S4, overseeing site readiness, user acceptance testing (UAT), user onboarding to S4, and the deployment of essential S4 solutions.
• Act as the primary SAP functional point of contact (SPOC) for the ECC to S4 migration process.
• Offer technical guidance and support to site teams regarding S4 functionalities and UAT activities.
• Provide integration assistance for peripherals and systems connected to S4.
• Deliver hyper-care technical support following migration, focusing on IDOC error troubleshooting and resolution.
• Coordinate on-site S4 UAT testing activities.
• Participate in and ensure the site's readiness for S4 migration.
• Assist in user training sessions focused on S4 technical functionalities.
• Conduct S4 user role assessments and verifications.
• Lead workshops to gather essential information for fit-gap analysis or blueprint development.
• Document functional requirements related to Enterprise Asset Planning and Plant Maintenance business processes.
• Provide expert advice to users on S4 solutions and capabilities.

Education & Experience

• 6 to 10 years of hands-on SAP technical support experience, including full lifecycle upgrades or migrations on SAP S/4HANA.
• Previous experience leading enterprise SAP migrations and deploying new SAP solutions.

Technical Competencies

• Core SAP Skills: Proficiency in OOABAP, IDocs, OData, enhancement frameworks, smart forms, Adobe forms, and object-oriented ALV.
• Modern SAP Ecosystem: Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Clean Core architecture, and cloud integration technologies.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Capable of triaging critical production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and enhancing database performance.
