Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor with a proven history of delivering large-scale building and infrastructure projects across Singapore. With ongoing business expansion and a strong pipeline of projects, they invite applications for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management responsibilities.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender evaluations.
• Source, assess, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Administer subcontracts, progress claims, variations, payments and final accounts.
• Track and control project costs, budgets and commercial performance across the project lifecycle.
• Review and evaluate variation orders, extension of time, loss & expense and contractual claims.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, and commercial updates to support project management.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
• Recognize commercial risks and assist with appropriate mitigation measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
• Support the Project Manager and the commercial team in meeting project cost and contractual objectives.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant exposure in building construction, civil or infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of measurement, tendering, contract administration, cost control and subcontract management.
• Experience handling variation orders, progress claims, final accounts and contractual claims.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices in Singapore.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$6,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
