QA Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to become a part of our team located in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in software quality assurance, particularly in the areas of test automation and performance testing. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the quality and reliability of our software products by employing comprehensive testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and execute test plans and test cases to uphold product quality.
• Detect, document, and monitor bugs and defects utilizing bug tracking systems.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to comprehend requirements and offer insights on product functionality.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that existing features remain functional after updates.
• Engage in code reviews and provide feedback regarding testability and quality metrics of the code.
• Establish and sustain automated test scripts and frameworks to facilitate continuous testing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Strong comprehension of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for the purpose of test automation.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
