Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to become a part of our Developer Experience (DevX) team, with a focus on both manual and automated testing for ARCore and XR initiatives. The successful candidate will possess over 4 years of professional experience and a robust understanding of testing AR/VR applications and devices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, execution, and management of thorough test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for features within AR/VR applications and associated hardware.
• Identify, document, isolate, and track bugs until resolution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
• Evaluate user interfaces for performance and adherence to design specifications.
• Work closely with test engineering teams to comprehend technical architecture and feature development.
• Oversee and manage test-loaned hardware, including producing weekly inventory reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years in quality assurance engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in C/C++, Java, or Python; experience with Unix/Linux or Windows operating systems.
• QA Proficiency: A solid foundation in manual testing, bug documentation, and debugging practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with testing mobile and VR/AR devices.

Capability to gather testing requirements and establish quality metrics.

Familiarity with test automation tools and maintaining scripts.
