Oracle CPQ Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will play a crucial part in various stages of the project, including defining problems, estimating efforts, diagnosing issues, generating solutions, and facilitating design and deployment.
• You will research alternative solutions to the recommended approaches, utilizing literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor evaluations, and more.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for building Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Your tasks will include creating requirement specifications based on business needs, outlining future processes, and developing detailed functional designs according to those specifications.
• You will assist in configuring solution requirements on the products, identifying any issues, diagnosing their root causes, seeking clarifications, and shortlisting potential solution alternatives.
• Moreover, you will contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to our customers.

Technical Requirements:

• We seek candidates with at least 5 years of experience in Oracle CPQ Big Machines, including BML and BMQL.
• A combination of CPQ design and development experience is essential.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and XML is required.
• Strong product knowledge is a must.
• Ability to function as a CPQ Designer and Developer according to project needs.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies is necessary.
• Experience with standard operating procedures for pre- and post-production support activities is also required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical leads to design and develop all necessary software to meet the requirements.
• Write code in BML, BMLQ, JavaScript, and Java to fulfill product specifications and requirements.
• Create PL/SQL and SQL interfaces and reports as needed to support requested functionalities.
• Document all technical design decisions and code in the design documentation.
• Engage with Oracle Support Services to address and resolve issues.
• Develop integrated test scenarios, identify test data, and execute testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve identified issues, documenting results appropriately.
• Initiate and take part in production rollout processes.
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
