Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of intricate projects and programs that involve various business units.
• Manage all aspects of project scope, timeline, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Create and sustain detailed project plans that encompass all phases of delivery.
• Handle daily project operations, including working groups, steering committees, and governance forums.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through robust governance, effective communication, and engagement strategies.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Provide timely and clear updates on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Ensure that projects are in alignment with strategic business goals and achieve the desired outcomes and benefits.
• Identify and address interdependencies among technology, operations, and business functions.
• Monitor and regulate project outcomes, resolving issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical-path activities promptly.
• Ensure compliance with applicable project governance, stage-gate controls, and SDLC requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 9-12+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale projects/programs within private banking, wealth management, or a comparable financial-services environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wealth management operations, investment products, services, and business processes.
• Proven history of managing projects from inception to completion in a lead project management role.
• In-depth understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, risk management, and change management.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a capacity to provide recommendations on complex issues.
• Exceptional communication skills at the executive level, both written and verbal.
• A confident and self-driven leader capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage complex projects involving numerous stakeholders and dependencies.
