Project Manager - Business Analyst

Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) to lead a comprehensive Master Data Management initiative aimed at standardizing, automating, and governing master data (including customer, product, order, and vendor information) across various enterprise systems. This position operates at the convergence of business process design, data governance, and technology implementation, collaborating closely with IT, RPA/Automation, Data Engineering, and GenAI teams to enhance master data processes and system integrations.

The perfect candidate will possess a blend of Project Management and Business Analysis skills, with a proven track record of managing complete project delivery, engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, mapping processes, and designing solutions. This role is integral to a strategic Master Data Management initiative that harnesses automation technologies and Generative AI to facilitate business transformation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Oversee the complete planning, scheduling, and execution of the roadmap across various workstreams (data ingestion, Gen AI/extraction logic, ERP integration).
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders (Business, IT, Data Governance, RPA/Automation, Cloud Engineering, and external vendors) to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and budget while providing regular status updates to leadership and steering committees.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) or manage governance in a waterfall approach, depending on the needs of the workstream.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live planning, and post-implementation support/hypercare.
• Manage change control processes and ensure comprehensive documentation of decisions, scope modifications, and issue resolutions.

Business Analysis

• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders within Customer Service, Order Management, Supply Chain, and IT teams.
• Map current-state ('as-is') and future-state ('to-be') process flows such as order ingestion, OCR/data extraction, OE code matching, human-in-the-loop review, and ERP order creation.
• Convert business requirements into well-defined user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for engineering and data teams.
• Establish and document master data standards, governance rules, and data quality criteria for the data catalog (e.g., product/OE code master data).
• Perform gap analysis between existing systems (e.g., Blue Prism bots, ABBYY OCR) and target-state architecture (e.g., Gen AI/LLM-based extraction, RAG search, vector databases).
• Assist in design reviews for AI/ML-driven workflows, including the design of human review loops and feedback/learning mechanisms.
• Collaborate with QA/testing teams to formulate test plans and verify that solutions align with defined business requirements.
