Reporting and Analytics Analyst

Position Overview

This role is instrumental in executing data analysis, reporting, and ensuring data quality initiatives that yield actionable insights, facilitate informed business decisions, and promote ongoing enhancement throughout the organization. The individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders to convert business needs into effective reporting solutions, guaranteeing the precision, integrity, and optimal utilization of data.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Data Analysis and Insight Development: Examine data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that align with business goals and aid in decision-making.
• Ad Hoc Reporting and Visualization: Create on-demand analyses, reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly convey findings, recommendations, and business performance to relevant stakeholders.
• Regular Reporting: Generate, verify, and disseminate periodic reports according to established timelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery while pinpointing areas for increased efficiency and automation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to grasp business requirements, translate them into effective reporting solutions, and deliver insights that bolster operational and strategic decision-making.
• Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Assist in data governance efforts by performing data quality assessments, discovering discrepancies, and recommending corrective measures to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Discover and implement strategies to optimize reporting processes, minimize manual tasks, enhance data quality, and improve reporting effectiveness through automation, standardization, and best practices.

Required Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a similar analytical position.
• Experience working within a complex, global B2B environment, providing support to stakeholders across various regions.
• Proven capability to operate independently in a remote or hybrid work setting, effectively collaborating with managers, stakeholders, and team members via email, messaging platforms, and video conferencing.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization software, including Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in interpreting complex datasets and converting findings into actionable business insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with SQL and data extraction tools is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring a high level of accuracy.
