Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to implement therapy programs and exercises. Assist clients in performing daily living activities such as feeding, toileting, and dressing. Provide crucial support in the delivery of care programs and activities tailored for day care clients. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the care center. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients undergoing rehabilitation and those in day care. Foster meaningful connections with clients and caregivers through active participation and engagement.

Requirements

• A Certificate in Rehabilitation Therapy from an accredited institution, along with a commendable 'N' or 'O' level score featuring at least 3 credits. A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or eldercare environment, ideally within a community setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required. A sincere enthusiasm for interacting with and caring for senior individuals.
