(Senior) Staff Nurse, Cancer Centre

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs throughout their outpatient journey and implement care plans accordingly. Accurately document the care provided and track outcomes utilizing approved charts and forms. Administer treatments and diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians. Support physicians during clinical procedures and day cases, adhering to established hospital protocols. Ensure the provision of safe and proficient nursing care that meets nursing standards. Exhibit expertise in core nursing skills along with specialized competencies relevant to the clinic/centre. Facilitate continuity of patient care and treatment plans through effective follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless delivery of patient care. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and rehabilitation strategies customized to individual needs. Address patient feedback in accordance with established hospital procedures and professional standards. Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies. Uphold a clean and safe working environment within the clinic/centre. Take on the responsibilities of a registered nurse (RN) in charge and provide supervision to new and junior staff members.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse certified by the Singapore Nursing Board. A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience, including at least 2 years as a Staff Nurse. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Demonstrates compassion with a positive and caring demeanor.
